From September 13th through 18th, this stage adaptation of the popular Hollywood blockbuster will thrill fans with songs like “Do You Love Me?” and "The Time of My Life.”
Stick to the Orpheum where, on September 24th, Amos Lee brings his unique blend of folk, rock, and soul to the stage. The show starts at 8 p.m. and tickets are tickets are available for as low as $39.50.
Some of the other top musical acts coming through Memphis this fall include Carrie Underwood on November 13th at FedExForum, Tech N9ne at the New Daisy Theatre on October 22nd, and Sheryl Crow at the Memphis Botanic Garden on September 23rd.
The late summer and fall in western Tennessee can mean many things for travelers, but for locals it’s all about University of Memphis Tigers football. Visit the stunning and always-pulsating Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium to catch the Tigers play the Bowling Green Falcons on September 24th, the Temple Owls on October 6th, or the Tulsa Golden Hurricanes on October 29th.
This fall in Jackson, don’t miss the premier coin collector’s event – it’s the 57th Annual Coin Show. Held on September 10th and 11th at the University of Tennessee - Madison County extension campus, this coin collecting event will feature dealers, speakers, vendors, and more. It’s free to enter, kids receive complimentary coins, and all events take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
