Visiting Nashville & Middle Tennessee
Nashville is a diverse, vibrant, and always entertaining destination. And this fall, the city so fondly known as Music City, USA will boast a dizzying array of top festivals, must-try events, excellent concerts, and so much more. Plan your next visit to middle Tennessee and enjoy a gorgeous autumn backdrop as you explore from Nashville to Murfreesboro and beyond.
As you explore the Nashville area, you’ll discover a batch of can’t-miss attractions – be sure to visit the Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum, swing by the famous Loveless Café for authentic southern cuisine, and the Grand Ole Opry is about as must-see as it gets. See these top spots and more when you drive in from nearby Brentwood.
Make your Nashville plans for September 10th – you can’t miss the stand-up comedy even of the year. Head to the Ryman Auditorium on the 10th at 7 p.m. to see Brian Regan perform live on stage. This critically acclaimed comedian is widely considered to be the finest stand-up working today. Comedy fans from as far as Clarksville and Dickson will surely make the drive in this fall.
Because Nashville, and most parts of middle Tennessee, features such an eclectic blend of cultures and backgrounds, there are many ways to honor these traditions throughout the year. Don’t miss the 20th Annual Celebrate Nashville Cultural Festival held on October 1st at Centennial Park. There will be seven stages, all with unique dance and music performances, and don’t skip on the many varieties of food.
Be sure you make some time to check out the charming city of Fayetteville, found south of Nashville, and just to the west of Winchester. Visit Fayetteville any time from September 10th to the 17th and explore the annual Lincoln County Fair. Don’t miss one of Fayetteville’s most anticipated fall events.
Many trips to Nashville include live music from top artists – the city is dotted with excellent venues, so you’ll have a great list from which to choose this fall. On October 31st, head over to the Marathon Music Works at 8 p.m. to see Phantogram live on stage. On November 10th, you can see Ingrid Michaelson live at the Ryman Auditorium, and for the country music faithful, don’t miss Keith Urban on November 11th at the Bridgestone Arena.
