Clement Railroad Hotel Museum

Found easily by Interstate 40, the Clement Railroad Hotel Museum is a historic attraction set in the western Nashville metro area. Located on Main Street in Dickson, the museum showcases Tennessee railroads, Civil War exhibits, and local history.

The Clement Railroad Hotel Museum was formerly the Halbrook Hotel – built in 1913 and listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. Established in 2009, the museum is known as Dickson’s "biggest artifact."

Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum

Located on the Cumberland River, the Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum is located in the entertainment district of Nashville. This museum strives to educate its visitors on the history of country music, and to promote country music traditions in Music City.

Since 1967, the museum has been home to "America's Music" – and the $37-million building opened in 2001 as a key fixture in the Nashville skyline. Accredited by the American Association of Museums, the Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum houses an impressive collection of video clips, recordings exhibits, a museum store, on-site café, and live performances.

Dickson Stampede Days Rodeo

Set at the Dickson County Fairgrounds, the annual Dickson Stampede Days Rodeo is held in mid-July, and known as “Dickson's Biggest Annual Spectator Event.” Set in the western Nashville metro area, the Dickson Stampede has been held for over a quarter-century.

Sanctioned by the International Pro Rodeo Association and Southern Pro Rodeo Association, Dickson rodeo events include Bareback Bronc Riding, Steer Wrestling, Cowgirls Breakaway Roping, and Junior Barrel Racing.

Drouillard House

Located in Cumberland Furnace, the Drouillard House & Conference Center is found in the northwestern Nashville metro area.

Montgomery Bell State Park

Covering 3,782 acres, the Montgomery Bell State Park is located in the western Nashville metro area, just east of Dickson. Established in 1943, the park is found easily by Highway 70, and attracts over one million annual visitors.

Operated by the Tennessee Department of Environment & Conservation, Montgomery Bell State Park features year-round recreation, and is known as the Cumberland Presbyterian Church birthplace. Try boating and fishing at Acorn and Woodhaven lakes, 19 miles of hiking trails, the Montgomery Bell Golf Course, and events like the Dogwood Classic.

Mrs. Pott’s Playhouse

Closed Sunday and Monday, Mrs. Pott’s Playhouse is located in the western Nashville metro area in Dickson.

The Grand Ole Opry
