Covering 14,000 acres, Percy Priest Lake stretches for 42 miles in central Tennessee within the Nashville metro area. Percy Priest Lake is just east of downtown Nashville and accessed easily from Interstate 40.
Completed in 1968 by the Corps of Engineers, Percy Priest Lake was created by the J. Percy Priest Dam. Water recreation includes boating, fishing, swimming, sailing, wakeboarding, jet skiing, and water skiing – plus land fun like horseback riding, picnicking, hiking, and biking.
